Highlight, underline, draw, add text and sticky notes — all in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
Try one of these:

Appended to the original filename when saving (e.g., report.pdf → report{suffix}.pdf).

Reset / Clear
Clearing data removes: auto-save recovery, your settings above, OCR language packs cached locally, and the "got it" dismissal for the edit-text banner. Open tabs are not affected.
Make PDF searchable (OCR)
Run optical character recognition on each page so its text becomes searchable, selectable, and copyable — even if the PDF was scanned as images.
⚠️ The first run downloads ~15 MB of language data (cached for next time). Processing takes ~3–5 seconds per page.

Edit existing text — heads up
Click any word to edit it. Works well for short replacements. Layout doesn't reflow, fonts approximate.
For paragraph-level rewrites, OCR + retype is more reliable.
